  • Did you Know?
  • The rumors are true: Victron Energy produces the best off-grid inverter chargers on the market. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple system integration features.

  • MultiPlus inverter/chargers models in the U.S. range from 500VA to the 15KVA unit. Units can be wired independently, in parallel for split phase operation or grouped together for 3 phase configuration. This makes it possible to use the MultiPlus for a small single-phase system, all the way up to a commercial scale 180kVA 3-phase system.

The Victron naming convention explains the system's potential based on it's design.

    Example: MultiPlus 12/2000/80-50 120V VE.Bus (UL)

    • 12 Volt DC battery
    • 2000 Volt Amps continuous power rating
    • 80 Amp DC battery charger
    • 50 Amp AC pass-through transfer relay
    • 120 Volt AC inverter
    • VE.Bus is the inverter's communication protocol
    • UL Certified (check datasheet for more details)

  • PowerAssist technology: This is the inverter’s ability to charge your battery at the max amount without compromising your ability to power your home off any generator size. This could allow your system to run off of smaller, more fuel-efficient generators. It also enables you to maximize the value of the generator's input even with significant home loads. Only Victron inverters can do this. Victron inverters are used in many different applications where this is a significant advantage.
