A Victron Energy BMV-700 battery monitor acts as your battery's ‘fuel gauge’, time-to-go indicator, and much more:

Standard features:

  • Displays battery voltage, current, power, ampere-hours consumed and state of charge
  • Remaining time at the current rate of discharge
  • Programmable visual and audible alarm
  • Programmable relay, to turn off non critical loads or to run a generator when needed
  • 500 Amp quick connect shunt and connection kit
  • Shunt selection capability up to 10,000 Amps
  • VE.Direct communication port
  • Stores a wide range of historical events, which can be used to evaluate usage patterns and battery health
  • Wide input voltage range: 6.5 – 95V
  • High current measurement resolution: 10 mA (0.01A)
  • Low current consumption: 2.9Ah per month (4mA) @12V and 2.2Ah per month (3mA) @ 24V

BMV-702 additional features:

  • Additional input to measure voltage (of a second battery), temperature or midpoint voltage, and corresponding alarm and relay settings.

    Victron BMV-702 not BMV-700 !

    On my old display the numbers started to fade after a few years in use. The display is mounted under deck and never sees any sunlight. The rubber contacts in the display, which are transmits to the LCD, are bad quality. The numbers are to see a bit better, when you push the display hard with your fingers. I wanted to buy a replacement display only! Despite great efforts of me and Reid Loessberg, that was not possible due to unwillingness of Victron in the Netherlands. I had to buy the complete unit inclusive the shunt and cables. I call that bad Victron customer policy, not to be able to buy just a a spare part. Summery: 1. Bad quality display, 2. Customer unfriendly policy of Victron
