The SmartShunt is an all-in-one battery monitor, with your smartphone acting as the display. The shunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect App on your phone (or tablet). You can conveniently change settings, update firmware, view 30 days of historical data, and monitor key battery parameters such as the state of charge of your battery bank, time to go, and more. 


IP65-rated models of the SmartShunt are available in 300A, 500A, 1000A and 2000A  —ideal for installations exposed to dust or moisture. Both models are equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used for: monitoring a second battery, midpoint monitoring or a temperature sensor. 


The SmartShunt is a good alternative for a BMV battery monitor, especially for installations in small spaces where less wiring and clutter is desired.

In this video, we discuss what happens and how to edit the inverter's default charging parameters, allowing you to charge your battery bank with the appropriate voltages until communications are restored. This example off-grid power system includes 48-volt Pylontech US5000 LiFePO4 batteries. When adjusting these settings, reference your battery's manual.

    Great product and customer service !

    I installed the shunt in my Cadita camper to supplement my 75/15 Victron controller. Easy install and accurate readings. Also, Intelligent Controls customer service was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the installation. I can wholeheartedly recommend the shunt and Intelligent Controls as a quality supplier.
