The newly released Cerbo GX MK2 is almost identical in appearance to the original Cerbo GX with several improvements in its VE.Can ports, USB ports and pulse counting.

The Cerbo GX MK2 device allows you to control your whole system from wherever you are and maximize its performance. Simply connect through Victron's Remote Management (VRM) portal, or access directly, using the separate GX Touch or the VictronConnect App thanks to its added Bluetooth capability. An optional Touch 70 GX touch display gives an instant overview of the system and lets the installer or system operator modify settings.

Customize your system even further, creating intelligent automation flows with Node-RED - the browser-based, low-code editor that makes it easy to wire together flows and automations. Connect hardware devices, APIs and online services together with PLC like programming.

In this video, we discuss what happens and how to edit the inverter's default charging parameters, allowing you to charge your battery bank with the appropriate voltages until communications are restored. This example off-grid power system includes 48-volt Pylontech US5000 LiFePO4 batteries. When adjusting these settings, reference your battery's manual.

    Victron Cerbo integration made easy!

    The Cerbo GX was one of the easiest integrations that I've experienced. I'm a maintenance tech by trade, and dealing with the basics like the firmware updates were simple. I've got it hooked up in my boat and it monitors my shore power and provides me all the details that I want. With it using my Starling Mini on the boat, it connects to my wifi and gives me piece of mind while she sits in the harbor all by herself. It is great to know the heat is still on and running on the boat here in SE Alaska! I can check the boat from the living room on rainy days!

    Cerbo GX MK2

    After several hours of troubleshooting, Reid from Intelligent Controls figured out that I was using the wrong Cerbo for my installation, I needed 2 different buses for my system to work properly. I was trying to view my system on a Garmin chart plotter. The can bus and NMEA2K use different bit rates. Once I got the right part, my system was up and running without any issues.

    The Best thing about Victron...

    ... is how well it integrates with all sorts of third party sensors through this device. I love how you can write your own programs using Node-RED. The possibilities are infinite.
